1. History (India & Rajasthan)
This section emphasizes the Indian National Movement and Rajasthan’s historical journey.
Indian History: Major events, 19th & 20th-century social/religious reform movements, different phases of the Indian freedom struggle, and post-independence nation-building.
Rajasthan History & Culture: Ancient civilizations (Kalibangan, Ahar), major dynasties and their administration, contribution in 1857, tribal and peasant movements, and the Praja Mandal movement. Includes art, architecture, literature, traditions, fairs, festivals, and folk music/dance of Rajasthan.
2. Geography (India & Rajasthan)
Questions will cover physical and economic geography.
Geography of India: Physical features, climate, monsoon, major rivers, lakes, wildlife sanctuaries, major crops, minerals, and energy resources .
Geography of Rajasthan: Physiographic regions, climatic conditions, drainage system, soils, major Kharif/Rabi crops, population statistics, major tribes, mineral resources, energy, and tourist places .
3. Indian Political System with Rajasthan
Focuses on the constitutional framework and administrative systems.
Indian Polity: Nature of the Constitution, Preamble, Fundamental Rights, Directive Principles, Union and State Legislature, Emergency provisions, and key constitutional bodies .
Rajasthan Polity: Governor, Chief Minister, State Legislative Assembly, High Court, District Administration, State Human Rights Commission, and State Election Commission .
4. Indian & Rajasthan Economy
Tests understanding of basic economic concepts and their application.
Indian Economy: Budget, banking, public finance, GST, national income, five-year plans, and major sectors (agriculture, industry, service) .
